As some of you can see, I’ve updated my Visions One layout. If you’re new around here you can check the old theme here.
The old template, created in 2007, is one of my most visited works in Deviant Art, and if you search for wordpress, it will appear on the first page of the results as one of the most popular designs posted there.
That’s why I decided to revisit the old design and modernize instead of creating something from scratch.
Visions One Revisited will be available for download for free!
I’m also reformulating the model of my website, since the old wasn’t attracting too many visitors. Hope it works now!
One of the best games I’ve ever played was Knights of the Old Republic, a Star Wars RPG created by BioWare – the company behind other best sellers RPG like Neverwinter Nights, Baldur’s Gate (along with Black Isle) and Mass Effect. They even released a sequel, that wasn’t well received as the first game, but wasn’t bad at all – we were just expecting a little more.
Now, BioWare is using the same well succeeded recipe to make a Star Wars MMO game. It’s was announced ‘a long time ago’ and is coming along pretty well. With each new info, art work, screenshot or video released more and more people are getting excited and making it one of the most anticipated games.
I didn’t know anything about this game until four days ago, although I’ve heard about it two or three times but never had the curiosity to check it out – including the fact that this game is for PS3 only and I don’t own one.
The game is a mixture of Gears of War with Prince of Persia and Tomb Raider. And the first thing that came to my mind while watching the video was that Drake, the main character, it’s kinda like a male version of Lara Croft. Could call him Lara Crotch. But of course that’s not true, he’s much more than a default game main character. A funny one.
No, it’s not an ingredient for some witch spell – as I thought when I first heard someone commenting of -, it’s a rock group and a damn good one!
Featuring Sammy Hagar (Van Halen), Michael Anthony (Van Halen), Joe Satriani and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) - some unknown and untalented musicians – just released their first album, self titled, which is awesomely good. And no, it’s not Van Halen cover. They have their own style.
My fave songs are the first (Avenida Revolution), the third (Sexy Little Thing), eighth (My Kinda Girl) and the tenth (Turnin’g Left). But the whole album is addictive. I highly recommend it!
